"Snap began in 2003 with a pre-exploratory visit by a group of young Swedish musicians from Hälsingland to Allendale, hosted by local promotions group Northumbrian Music Nights. With the addition of partners from Pays de Ploërmel in the heart of Brittany, the SNAP project reached critical mass. The final concert of the SNAP series, held in July 2008 in Loyat, Bretagne, provided convincing evidence of the passion for excellence achieved by each partner"
